Hello and welcome
You are entering upon a journey into Arnold’s virtual space.
It’s kind of like zooming in with Google earth and finding my little
Homestead, on the surface of the blogosphere. My interests are; well anything that’s funny and self sufficiency projects. We have recently created a website called http://www.Breezybreak.com to show everyone in great detail what we are up-to with our downshifting project in the French countryside. Hope you like it and we will keep it up to-date at least every week. She who must be obeyed also has a blog which is probably much more informative on all things pertaining to self sufficiency and downshifting in France called http://breezybreakblog.blogspot.com So behave and wipe your feet on the way out..

Thought I’d pop in and check out your site since you happened upon mine =] What a great picture of your kitty…I can tell he’s a happy fella!!! lol
Hello! Found your blog on blogcatalog searching under “downshifting”.
It’s a nice place to mosey around, makes me chuckle. I hope it’s still all going well.
I’ve also got a downshifting blog (hence the search etc) at dropoutdiaries.com. I moved from London to Cornwall six months ago. I am very poor but fairly cheerful!
This week I’m posting a series of interviews on my blog with people I know who have successfully quit the rat race. They make pretty interesting reading!
It just occurs to me, would you be interested in doing an interview? I ask everyone the same set of questions!
If you would be interested, drop a line to contact at dropoutdiaries.com.
Cheers,
gubernatrix
Dear Arnold, if any of your members out there in the limosin want to know precise details and tips about real ale then please give me a mail. I founded three small breweries here and have some serious and practical tips to offer in exchange for help. I am selling up and want to move to the creuse area to live. First to do up a house and then to start a small business possibly a brewery or some other madcap venture. I have had lots of exp. in building but obviously trying to do this in france is going to be much harder!
I am looking for a cheap project( 75000euros) and reckon i may get a small place with some land. If any one can think of a suitable place-please mail me. Oh and about the chickens-i agree entirely-got six Lohman browns at the bottom of my small garden in Staveley. Thanks all, Martin Barry. 01246 477101
